Ahh..had such an amazing time on our family  beach vacation this week. Leaving is always SO HARD. This trip consisted of laying out, eating, playing putt putt, surfing tiny waves, more laying out, more eating, and some good family time. I must have a little beach nook to slip away to one of these days.

Having a flowy maxi is always a must for me at the beach. When I found this gem, I knew it would be perfect. I immediately fell in love with the color and felt it was a tiny start to my fall transition; although, there are many more smoldering Louisiana summer days upon us. Heck, I could possibly whip this maxi back out around Christmas time and still be pretty cozy (last Christmas I was in shorts, gotta love LA). After Jo and I had our dinner date, we took a stroll on the beach and I was super comfy and free in this beautiful dress.

Saying goodbye to the beach is NEVER easy, but spending the last night in my FP maxi made it a little more bearable. 😉 Back to reality, but we still plan to make the most of what’s left of summer.
